A Great Turnout!

Hello again to the Mad Scientists at YCES ...

You all ROCK!!!!!!

It sounds like we have about 40 different projects being entered in the school wide science fair tomorrow - that is amazing!!!  Way to go!!!!!!!

Do you want to see your project on display?
Would you like to see what other people studied?
Are you interested in finding out which ones the judges like best?

Go take a look at the various entries to the YCSD Science Fair tomorrow, February 6th at the middle school in Yamhill.  There is sure to be some amazing talent in that building!  Go see what your friends turned in and maybe even get some neat ideas for next year!

Thanks again to ALL of the parents and supportive adults to helped students during this entire process.

Learning is fun!!!

Our Halls are Ready!!!

YCES hallways have enjoyed sharing dynamic displays for the Science Fair over the past month. (Thanks for your amazing work Jodi Pellegrino!!)

Have you seen the bulletin boards? Make sure to come on by and take a look for yourself!

One More Day!!!

Hello all of you YCES Mad Scientists!

We are SO close!!!!

The time has come!!!!!!!!!!

All elementary school project display boards for the YCSD Science Fair are due at YCES tomorrow - Wednesday, February 5th.  They will be transported to the middle school tomorrow afternoon for judging on Thursday, February 6th.

Tell everyone you know! Anyone can visit and view the Science Fair exhibits. We're excited to share the hard work that all of our students put into their projects!

Please note that our display boards will return to YCES after the projects have been judged. They will then be on display in our gym so everyone at school can see  what fun science can be!!!

Thank you again to all the parents and teachers and everyone who has helped a student prepare for this big event!!

See you all on Thursday!!!!!!!!!!

Take Home Fliers

Are you missing any of the fliers that you brought home from school over the past few weeks?  These fliers have a lot of great information, so we thought we would share them here for you to access all in one place!  You should be able to click on each one of these and then view them on your screen, or print them.

If you have any problems opening or viewing these fliers, please leave a comment on this blog post and we'll send you a copy via e-mail!

Preparing Your Board

What type of information are you showing  on your science fair display board? Are you using pictures? Have you considered using a graph?

Here is a link with some great examples of how to create your very own graph:

Take a look at the neat ideas out there to  find out if there's something you can use!

We're getting excited to see all of the projects created by our Mad Scientists!!!!
